Step One: It is recommended on receipt of the SACS kit, and prior to use, the external surfaces and working parts of the firearm are thoroughly cleaned and lubricated in accordance with the manufactureres instructions. This will make future removal of carbon, lead and copper fouling quicker and easier. In cases of firearms that have severe corrosion or heavy copper fouling you made need to repeat the following steps a few times until all fouling has been removed
Step Two: Make sure the red trigger lock is in the up position on the SACS power unit head. Unscrew the SACS power unit cup from the SACS power unit head and place the CO2 cartridge in the SACS power unit cup with the neck facing up, securely tighten the cup to the SACS power unit head ( NOTE - It only needs to be tight enough to compress the o-ring in the SACS power unit head to keep the CO2 from leaking. Do not over tighten ) Now Screw the caliber specific SACS adapter into the gold outlet nozzle on the SACS power unit head
Step Three: Insert the caliber specific SACS green tipped Wad into the Adapter with the green tip facing out.
Step Four: Apply only a few drops of KG-12 Bore Cleaner or Quality Bore Cleaner to the green tipped section of the SACS wad
Step Five:Clear the chamber and Insert the SACS adapter with wad end first into gun breech as far as it will go.
Step Six: Point the firearm in a safe direction and unlock the trigger safety then press the trigger on the SACS CO2 power unit with a quick blast to fire the wad through the barrel to clean the barrel.
Step Seven: Insert the caliber specific SACS non-tipped Wad into the Adapter. Apply a few drops of Quality Lubricant to the SACS wad and repeat above steps to lubricate and protect the barrel.
Step Eight: Unscrew the SACS adapter and and screw another caliber specific adapter in the power unit to do other firearms or thread on blower straw attachment .
Step Nine: You can use blower straw to blow any debris away from the rest of the weapon or to blow lubricant into the hard to reach areas, also to blow KG-1 carbon remover the the gas tube to clean the gas tube
Step Ten: If proceeding to firing, wipe over all external surfaces with a lint-free cloth to remove any excess lubricant. If storing, the firearm should have a light coat of protective lubricant applied to all external and internal surfaces and then be stored in a secured, cool dry environment.
